    Department's Mission and Policy: Vasai Virar City Municipal Corporation has the power to control sky signs and advertisements in visible areas in the municipal area and to levy advertisement license fees as per the Municipal Corporation (Control of Advertisements and Hoardings) Rules, 2003 under Sections 244, 245, and 456 of the Maharashtra Municipal Corporation Act, 1949.
