Additional Commissioner Department:-

The Additional Commissioner Department controls the administrative work, ensures effective implementation of the goals and policies and coordinates with the various departments of the Municipal Corporation. He plays the role of actual implementation of the instructions given by the Commissioner. Through this work is done to increase the efficiency and public orientation of the Municipal Corporation.

  • Supervise the eviction proceedings of the said building after receiving the survey of the dangerous buildings from the Deputy Commissioner (Removal of Unauthorized Construction and Encroachment) (North) Assistant Commissioner/ In-charge Assistant Commissioner.
  • Monitoring to identify and remediate crack prone areas
  • Remedies and management of natural and man-made disasters.
  • Eviction of unauthorized constructions. Fixing of eviction schedule on monthly basis and approval of Commissioner and post eviction action wise file with Geo tagged photographs.
  • Legal Tracking- regarding unauthorized construction, filing of MRTP Notices Cavaet, appointment of expert, filing of Written Statement, review of court decision, appeal in High 1. Court if necessary. Reviewing Update on Legal Tracking System.
  • Review of unauthorized construction evictions to the Commissioner on the first Tuesday of the month.
