अतिरिक्त आयुक्त विभाग हा प्रशासकीय कामकाजावर नियंत्रण ठेवून, ध्येय – धोरणांची प्रभावी रितीने अंमलबजावणी सुनिश्चित करतो आणि महानगरपालिकेच्या विविध विभागांशी समन्वय राखून महापालिका आयुक्तांनी दिलेल्या निर्देशांची प्रत्यक्ष अंमलबजावणी करण्याची भूमिका बजावतो. याव्दारे महानगरपालिकेची कार्यक्षमता व लोकाभिमुखता यामध्ये भर घालण्याचे काम केले जाते.

कर्तव्य

  1. Administrative Control,North Division, Ward Committee (A,B,C,E,F) as well as Special Planning Authority
  2. Chief Controller, Unauthorized Constructions and Encroachment Removal (CCUC) (North) Ward Committee (A,B,C.E.F), (South). Ward Committee (D.G.H,I) and Special Planning Authority will continue to function as the Superintendent for this work (CUC) Controller Ward Committee (A.B.C.D.E.F.G.H.I) Circle Deputy Commissioner and as the designated officer Assistant Commissioner / In-charge Assistant Commissioner, Ward Committee (A.B.C.D.E.F.G.H.I) and Special Planning Authority Assistant Commissioner / In-charge Assistant Commissioner will continue to function.
  3. In the above ward

    • To receive the survey of dangerous buildings from the Deputy Commissioner (Unauthorized Construction and Encroachment) (North/South) Assistant Commissioner/Assistant Commissioner in-charge and supervise the eviction proceedings of the said building.
    • To supervise the identification of landslide prone areas and take measures
    • To take measures and manage natural and man-made disasters
    • To determine the eviction schedule of unauthorized constructions on a monthly basis and to get the approval of the Commissioner and after eviction, to submit the case-wise file with Geotagged photographs to the Commissioner for review.
    • To track the unauthorized constructions. To file MRTP Notices Cavaet, appoint a lawyer, file a Written Statement, review the court decision, appeal to the higher court if necessary, etc. To review the update on the Legal Tracking System
    • To provide a review of the eviction of unauthorized constructions to the Commissioner on the first Tuesday of the month.
