6) Coordination in preparation of bye-laws / rules of the Municipal Corporation.

7) Right to Information applications in the General Administration Department.

8) Preparation of Citizen Charter.

Department’s work:-

1) Hon. Commissioner’s Office Organizing Lokshahi Din (Municipal Municipality) and Hon. Deputy Commissioner (G.P.) Planning Lokshahi Din and following up on complaints filed by citizens on Lokshahi Din.

2) Hon. Taluka Lokshahi Din (Tehsil Office, Vasai) Hon. Deputy Commissioner (G.P.) Corresponding with the Ward Committee Office regarding the Taluka Lokshahi Din.

3) Hon. District Collector’s Office Lokshahi Din (District Collector’s Office, Palghar) Hon. Deputy Commissioner (G.P.) Corresponding with the Ward Committee Office regarding the Lokshahi Din.

4) Hon. District Collector’s Office Mahila Lokshahi Din (District Collector’s Office, Palghar) Hon. Deputy Commissioner (G.P.) Corresponding with the Ward Committee Office regarding the Mahila Lokshahi Din.

5) Hon. Divisional Commissioner’s Office Lokshahi Din (Konkan Bhavan), Hon. Divisional Commissioner’s Office Mahila Lokshahi Din (Konkan Bhavan) Hon. Deputy Commissioner (S.P.) Under the Hon. Divisional Commissioner’s Office, to contact and correspond with the Ward Committee (All) Office regarding Lokshahi Din.

6) Hon. Mantralaya Lokshahi Din (Mantralaya, Mumbai) Under the Hon. Deputy Commissioner (S.P.) Coordination.

7) Under the Maharashtra Public Service Right Act 2015, to consolidate the reports received from the Ward Committee (All), Town Planning Department and Fire Department and send them to Hon. Mantralaya, Mumbai and Hon. District Collector’s Office, Palghar.

8) Under the Corruption Eradication Committee, to coordinate and follow up with the Ward Committee (All) under the Hon. Deputy Commissioner (S.P.) Distribute Armed Forces Flag Day Fund Collection Materials received through the Maharashtra Government, General Administration, Soldier Welfare Department under the Deputy Commissioner (G.P.) and collect Armed Forces Flag Day Fund and deposit it in the office of the District Soldier Welfare Officer, Thane/Palghar and follow up.

9) Celebrate the birth anniversary of the national hero/great person and National Day issued from time to time as per the Government Circulars of the Maharashtra Government, General Administration Department, under the supervision of the Hon. Deputy Commissioner (G.P.).

10) Coordinate with the Head of Department (All) to prepare the bye-laws/rules of the Municipal Corporation under the Hon. Additional Commissioner and Hon. Deputy Commissioner (G.P.) and follow up.

11) Coordinate with the Head of Department (All) to prepare the charter of citizens under the Hon. Deputy Commissioner (G.P.) and prepare the charter of citizens as per the information received from him.

12) To respond to the applications filed by citizens under the Right to Information Act 2005 in the General Administration Department within the stipulated time. Also to pass the orders of the Public Information Officer, First Appellate Officer under the Hon. Commissioner, Hon. Additional Commissioner and Hon. Deputy Commissioner (G.P.).

13) To perform other administrative and complicated tasks under the Hon. Deputy Commissioner (G.P.).
