Department info:-
1. Disposal of waste generated in Vasai Virar City Municipal Corporation in a scientific manner, cleaning of sewers, drains and roads in the city and controlling epidemic diseases among the citizens within the municipal limits.
2. Collecting and transporting waste from the city to the landfill, cleaning sewers/drains, cleaning roads, controlling and eliminating mosquitoes in the city, clean-up marshals, taking action against vehicles obstructing traffic in public places, Central Government's Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and Swachh Survekshan.
